Tina Heuges - (Choreographer)
Tina graduated with her B.F.A. in Modern/Dance Education from the University of the Arts in 1997, later she went on to earn her MFA in Dance Composition at Temple University. She has taught at: Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts, Delaware Valley Dance Academy, Williamstown High School, Temple University, Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania, American College Dance Festival, North Hampton Community College, Cedar Crest College and the Bolles School. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and amazing son and is available for teaching at all times of the year.
Adrianna Carey - (Dancer)
Adrianna is a graduate of the University of the Arts, with her BFA in Dance Education. While living in Philadelphia, she has had the opportunity to work with Tina Heuges, Brian Sanders' JUNK, Leah Stein Dance Company, the Bald Mermaids, and many other independent choreographers. She also performed in the Wilma Theater's presentation of "Big Love". Most recently, Adrianna had the honor of working with Austrian choreographer, Willi Dorner, in his Philadelphia premiere of "Bodies in Urban Spaces" for the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival.
Hedy Wyland - (Dancer)
Hedy was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2003 she received her BFA in modern dance from the University of the Arts, where she was given the award for outstanding modern dancer. She is active in the Philadelphia dance community, performing at many events throughout the area such as: Glue Performance series, The Rocky Awards, The Garden State Dance Festival, Lady Festival, the University of the Arts Alumni Concert, The National Constitution Center and the Wednesday Night performance Series at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She has been a member of Group Motion Dance Company since 2003.
Jamie Potts - (Dancer)
Jaime, a native of Philadelphia, has been dancing since the age of 5. In 2003 she received her BFA in Modern Dance Performance, from the University of the Arts. While attending UARTS, she has had the opportunity to work with many choreographers such as Manfred Fischbeck, Roni Koresh, Brian Sanders and Milton Meyers. She has been an active member of the Philadelphia dance community since 2000, performing at many events such, some of which include GLUE Performance Series, The Koresh Showcase, UART Alumni Concert, NEW Edge Festival, Kumquat Festival and the Philly Fringe/Live Arts Festival. Jaime has been dancing with Winged Woman Dance since 2002. She performed with Kate Watson-Wallace and Anonymous Bodies in CAR during last season’s Live Arts and Philly Fringe Festival. For the last 2 years she has been performing with PIMA Group, under the direction of Melisa Putz. Jaime has recently joined Archedream for Humankind; a Philadelphia based multi-disciplinary mask theater company dedicated to inspiring and empowering through innovative performances and workshops utilizing dance, music, multimedia and visual arts. She would like to thank her friends and family who have nurtured and supported her love for the arts and dance throughout the years.
Briana Masson - (Dancer)
Briana lives and performs in NYC with Dixie Fun Dance Theatre and Puleio. She is thrilled to be working with Winged Woman Dance and to reprise RESIDUE. Most recently Briana danced in the play NOBODY SUSPECTS A BUTTERFLY at the Theatre for the New City which featured Anthony Rapp of RENT fame. As a member of Actors’ Equity favorite shows include ANYTHING GOES, WEST SIDE STORY and GUYS AND DOLLS. Briana has been a private pilates instructor for 11 years and has had the opportunity to travel to Paris as a guest teacher. She attended University of the Arts with an emphasis in modern dance and dance education.
Geri Vanore - (Dancer)
Geri Vanore is a Philadelphia native who bargained her training at her neighborhood studio at the age of ten. She later attended the High School for the Creative And Performing Arts (CAPA). She also trained at Philadanco, where she became a member of Danco II. Developing a passion for teaching in 1995, Geri now specializes in teaching modern, ballet, technique and turn, lyrical, hip hop, bellydance and mask acting. She attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she worked with Ruth Andrian, Molly Misgalla, Pat Thomas, Andrew Pap, Roni Koresh, and Manfred Fischbeck. In 2001 Geri was offered a scholarship to train at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. There she studied under Kazuko Hirabayashi, Denise Vale, Elana Comendador, Marguerite Wesley, Max Luna III, and many more. In 2003 Geri co-founded and directed Identity Dance Company, a dance group designed for adolescents and young adults who sought to escape potentially harmful environments and explore their potential through dance arts. In 2005 Geri became a member of the Philadelphia Wings Dance Team with whom she performed for three seasons. She has also recently danced as a featured performer at the Garden State Dance Festival in 2007. Since 2005 Geri has been working with Archedream for Humankind, a blacklight archetypal dance theatre, with whom she tours nationally and internationally giving performances and workshops at schools festivals and theaters.
